The nation is watching with a combination of shock, incredulity and revulsion as more and more details of the January 6th committee's meticulous investigation into the events of that dreadful day are emerging. Yesterday's report included the not-too-surprising bombshell that Trump indeed new that many of the protestors were armed and carrying semi-automatic weapons and yet he still egged them on to the capital to overthrow an election that he had been informed by his top advisors was legitimate. What is possibly even worse is that while the secret service were trying to drive him away from the zone of protest citing the dangers of it, that Trump actually lunged at the driver of the car and attempted to take control of the wheel to drive himself into the center of the riot. In the history of the United States we have never had a breach of protocol this serious and have never had a President, - even Andrew Johnson who was notoriously out of control, behave with this level of unbridled scopiopathy. The question many of us face is -- what can we do. Are we merely spectators? And the answer is -- definitely not. Call five friends in different states. Urge them to call their senators and congressmen to insist that that they make it clear in no uncertain terms that the Department of Justice can and should take action to indict. We run the grave danger of letting Trump go, after all the facts that have emerged, -- which would set a dangerous precedent in not insisting that all politicians follow the rule of law. I write music and make videos as a way of trying to document the massive political unrest of our times. If listening helps to soothe you, motivate you, electrify you, by all means, watch and listen!
